OUR STORY

Founded in 2011, WaterRock Ministries was established to teach, encourage, and equip people to fulfill the Lord's calling to “…go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them…and teaching them to obey all I have commanded…”.

Matthew 28:19, 20

Our name, WaterRock Ministries, comes from the story of God providing water for the people of Israel in order to sustain and equip them for the task he had called them to, Exodus 17:5-6. The meaning for us as an organization is that the Lord will always provide what is needed to accomplish what he has called you to do.

Our mission statement is - 'To equip God's people for works of service' - and is taken from Ephesians 4:12-13, which states: 

"To equip God's people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ."

We believe that as disciples of Jesus Christ we are called to live a life worthy of the calling we have received, which includes making disciples who can in turn make other disciples.

It is our privilege to work together with local churches, individuals, and Christian organizations to equip God's people for the work He has called them to do.
